Release Notes for Descon Version 8.1.0.019

This version checks the web splice plates of a W-shape brace for compression per AISC 360 J4.4, including buckling, and sizes the plates for that check.

Also in this version:

• Tension yielding and tension rupture of those plates are reported against the tension force

To update, open Descon and click Approve when the prompt appears.
If you do not get a prompt, go to the Support tab and click Update.
