Descon 8.1 lets you override a calculation line in the report. The original value is kept and marked as modified by the user.
This version also fixes issues with dragging callouts and dimensions in the drawing.
Also in this version:
- A portal for managing licenses, users, and renewals
- Sign-in emails a one-time link; you are not asked for a password. You can mark a browser as trusted and skip that step on later visits
- A license that used to stay taken after a crash or a closed session now frees itself, and you can release a machine from the portal
- The installer includes the runtime Descon needs, including .NET
- Digitally signed installer so Windows treats it as a known publisher
- Send Feedback opens a support ticket and attaches the drawing, a screenshot, and the calculation report
- Work Offline on the Support tab checks a seat out for the days you need with no connection
- Fixed issues where plugging in a dock or VPN could take a second license
- Fixed crash when opening a second drawing
- Fixed crash when loading a file saved in different units
To update, open Descon and click Approve when the prompt appears.
If you do not get a prompt, go to the Support tab and click Update.
